ALWAYS AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING

Always Against Animal testing is a campaign with the purpose of informing those on which companies in the cosmetic industry still to this day test on animals, and hopefully our message will stop more people into buying into these brands and instead using alternatives.

Research has shown that at least 115 million animals are being used in experiments worldwide each year, this is nearly double the amount of domestic pets in the whole of the UK. The UK is one of the top 10 countries in the whole that still to this day test on animals. Latest figures have shown that in 2011 almost 11.5 million animals were used in experiments in Europe alone, this is only a slight decreased since 2008. We are aware that many young people are not aware that so many animals are being subjected to abuse and torture everyday for us to own luxuries like skincare and cosmetics. Many popular UK and worldwide skincare and cosmetic brands are still to this day testing on animals, these range from drugstore brands like Avon and Maybelline and even high-street brands like Clinique, Nars and Benefit. But there are so many alternatives both drug-store and high-street brands that are cruelty free like two faced, lush and the body shop who use natural ingredients in their products and don't rely on testing on animals in order to create a product.
